Architectural Construction Week “Arch·London·2006” focused on promotion of the UK & Russian/CIS cooperation in the field of architecture and construction. It also aimed to explore the possibility of establishing partnerships and initiating joint projects.

The business agenda of the week was based on combination of practice and theory. The programme encompassed architectural talks and tours where the participants had a great opportunity to visit a range of remarkable London buildings, looking at both the inside and outside from design, structural and practical point of view.

Architectural tours, guided by British architects, provided the opportunity to visit London buildings of different styles, and get an insight of significant architectural projects.

There were also open practice and business meetings with architectural practices and organisations. That included a meeting with the world's most influential architectural organisation Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).

Open practice and business meetings allowed Russian/CIS specialists to visit architects' offices, to see how architects work, their influences and environments in which they design.

Participants included senior executives from architectural and construction companies, project and design studios from Russia/CIS and UK .

This event has been designed to meet the needs of architecture and construction professionals regardless of their specific area of expertise and provide them with the latest information on subjects that pertain to them. This is an exceptional opportunity to look at projects from the British architecture market, to get first-hand information about new trends in architecture, to network and find new partners.
